Troop 373 is open to scouts of all faiths, backgrounds and ethnicities. This unit embraces diversity in all forms. Troop and Boy Scouts of America policy also encourages Scouts to maintain an interest and participate actively in their own religious preference.
Experience in Cub Scouting is not required.
To become a member of the Troop the following is required:
The scout must be must be eleven years of age or completed 5th grade to join, or is at least 10 years of age and has earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light.
The scout has completed and returned the Boy Scout Application.
Parents or adult guardian have returned a Troop Resource Survey.
Family has paid the first year’s dues.
Unit Transfers
Transferees will be accepted on the same basis as New Scouts.
It is particularly important that a transferring Scout request and obtain papers or other documents from his former Troop which will serve to certify his record of advancement, merit badge accomplishments, hiking and camping record, etc., so that proper credit can be maintained.

Please do not let financial barriers stop you from allowing your scout to join. Please contact one of the Troop Leaders about financial options.
We do have scholarships and other financing available for first year scouts.
Some Medicaid also offer assistance.
